Remote and Virtual Learning
Students enrolled at St Aldhelms Academy can use Microsoft365 software and apps.Microsoft365Microsoft TEAMS is the platform we use for remote learning. It can be accessed on a computer, tablet or mobile phone. Students should log in using this link:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-teams/log-in
Students will need to know their school e-mail address. This is their ID number followed by @staldhelms-academy.co.uk Their ID number is the number that they use to log on to a laptop or computer in school.
Students then log in as follows:
- Enter their school email address e.g. 001234@staldhelms-academy.co.uk
- Use the same password they use to log in on a computer or laptop at school
There are some videos below to support you and students if you need further guidance with accessing it. We would like students to submit their completed work on Microsoft TEAMS. If a student does not have access to a laptop or computer, they can look at the resources on their phone and complete the tasks set on paper. This can then be photographed and uploaded to TEAMS
If you need to have your Password Reset, please follow the link below:

Remote Education
There should only be limited circumstances where a pupil is unable to attend the Academy but is able and well enough to continue their education remotely. These circumstances should only involve a short-term absence and might include pupils:
- recovering from short- term infectious illnesses
- preparing for or recovering from some operations
- recovering from injuries where attendance might inhibit recovery
In some exceptional cases, these circumstances might also include pupils whose attendance has been affected by a special educational need or disability (SEND) or a mental health issue. In these circumstances, after the pupil’s absence from school has been established, pupils will be set work individualised work using teams to ensure they do not fall further behind.
