As the Senior Leadership Team of St Aldhelm's Academy, we warmly welcome you to our website.

At St Aldhelm's, we proudly serve our local community, with the aim of ensuring our students enjoy school,  receive an excellent education and are given all the tools to develop into confident, ambitious young people who will go on to have fulfilling lives.

We know we have work to do to ensure that this aim is met for each of our students. Our most recent Ofsted report- whilst highlighting the work that needs to be done - recognised the progress that has been made and this summer's GCSE results are reflective of this, with the highest number ever of students achieving benchmark qualifications.

Our improvement journey gathers pace this year with a new Principal and Vice Principals who bring a wealth of experience in school leadership and with the support of United Learning who are providing us with guidance around curriculum, the quality of teaching and students' personal development as well as executive leadership support.

We are determined that St Aldhelm's will rapidly become a school of which its local community can be really proud and one in which - with no exceptions - every single child is happy and thriving.
